We have been overwhelmed by the generous contributions of creative practitioners in their workshops for young people and their families.

Here are a selection of images from Jennie Pedley and Chrys Allen

Jennie worked with her brother Rob on a workshop exploring the triassic layers of sandstone that lie beneath our feet in Nottingham.  A little research revealed that triassic creatures would have roamed the sea where the Council House and the Vicky Centre are now.  And these were brilliantly brought back to life in Jennie’s shadow theatre boxes.

Chrys encourages us all to take a fresh look, indeed fresh perceptions through all the senses, of ourselves and our faces. These are a selection of images drawn with eyes closed… and drawings of smells and where they take us.  This was for Brain Day last week and much fun and insight was enjoyed by all.
